Ginger’s Bar on 5th st & 5th ave in Brooklyn is always a cute place to spend your Saturday night! This casual neighbourhood hangout offers happy hour drink specials, a pool table, and an outdoor patio to mingle on. Ginger’s looks like a grubby old-timers’ joint, with a long wooden bar up front and a pool table in the back room. But with the ladies in control, this unpretentious lesbian and gay watering hole is cleaner and brighter. Special event nights include bingo, karaoke, and dance parties. Two rooms and a spacious garden accommodate everyone. Small tables are a good place to chat and listen to the juke; the back room draws cue-carrying pool sharks, but skill-free shooters are welcome, too.
